Au Abroad is pleased to offer a new an unique program at the Ecole de Gouvernance et dEconomie in Rabat Morocco. EGE Rabat is a highly specialized institute that offers training to prospective civil and foreign service officers. It is modeled on the Institute d'Etudes Politiques in Paris France.
With 200 degree-seeking students, EGE Rabat offers an intense and intimate atmosphere in which to study International Relations. EGE Rabat seeks to diversify its student body with students from throughout the region, providing a learning environment that is rich in diverse perspectives. The curriculum offered at EGE Rabat is highly specialized to offer multidisciplinary training for the public policy makers of Morocco's future. Students are expected to take the majority of their coursework fully instructed in French, so a minimum of six semesters of college-level French is required. Extensive course descriptions are available. Students will be required to secure course equivalencies. Syllabi for courses will be available upon arrival.
Students may opt to pre-arrange housing in a privately owned student residence immediately adjacent to the EGE campus. Many students opt, however, to secure housing on their own that is more centrally located in Rabat. In all cases, students will pay for housing directly.
EGE Rabat offers several student associations organized around the interests of students, including music and debate. Student have also started Strat'EGE, a group that organizations educational visits throughout Rabat. Various sporting activities are also offered, including horseback riding, kayaking, volleyball and baseball.
The student union serves as the official representative of the student body. It serves students in a variety of capacities and and negotiates grievances, as well as the formation of clubs. The student union began the EGE MUN and organized a field trip to the model United Nations in Paris is 2010.
A buddy program is also provided for visiting students, to offer a student-to-student view of life at EGE and in Rabat.
