Program Description:

Is This Program Right for You?

In partnership with the Kogod School of Business, AU Abroad is pleased to offer a unique opportunity for business majors and minors to study in Rouen, France. The NEOMA Business School offers undergraduate and graduate programs to an international student community. Admission to NEOMA's   degree programs is an intensely competitive process, which provides for a rigorous academic environment in which to study European Business.

Located about one hour from Paris by train, NEOMA provides an unparalleled opportunity to take business courses in a new and exciting environment. Students may take courses instructed in French or in English. This program is particularly suitable for students in the Business and Language Cultures program in the French Track.

Academics

Most AU students will attend the Institute Formation International (IFI), the undergraduate program at the NOEMA. The first year courses, offered in French, are appropriate for BLC majors. Students who take this track will take foundation courses. BLC majors may also select courses from the BSBA curriculum, adding variety to the curriculum available that is instructed in French.

The remaining curriculum is instructed in English, and students who wish to study in English typically will take advanced courses available in the fourth year of the degree. Students who take this track will be required to have taken foundation courses prior to the study abroad experience.

Minors and non-Majors may attend NEOMA, but must have a least two foundation courses in Business prior to study in Rouen. As NOEMA is an institution solely dedicated to the study of Business, minors should not expect to take courses in their majors.

Students will be allowed to take advanced courses through the NOEMA on an individual basis where academically appropriate.

All students are recommended to take French language courses through the IFI to supplement their language skills. There are no non-academic language support programs available outside of the French curriculum.

Students will be required to secure course equivalencies. Syllabi will be available during the pre-registration period, but not prior to acceptance to the program.

Student Life

All AU students stay in homestays which are located in the residential area where the campus resides in Mt. St. Aignan. Students should be prepared for a commute to campus via public bus.

All room and board, and personal expenses are paid by the student directly to NEOMA.

You will be able to contact alumni of this program when you start an application.
