Is this Program Right for You?
AU Abroad is very pleased to now offer AU students the opportunity to study abroad at National Chengchi University (NCCU)
, one of Taiwan's leading universities. Located in Taipei, the capital of Taiwan, on a large, modern campus, National Chengchi University (NCCU) was founded in 1927 and has a long history of strong academic teaching and research.
NCCU has appoximately 15,000 students and has a thriving program for international students. AU students would be joining a cohort of over 100 study abroad exchange students at the University as part of over 400 international students on campus. NCCU encompasses nine colleges excelling in the liberal arts, law, commerce, science, foreign languages, social sciences, communication, international affairs and education, comprised of 33 departments and 49 graduate institutes.
AU students directly enroll at NCCU for either a semester or a full year and earn full AU credit. NCCU offers numerous courses taught in English in a wide range of subjects which are open to study abroad students. Courses are offered in a range of subjects within International Affairs, Arts & Humanities, Social Sciences and Business.
NCCU also offers Mandarin Chinese language instruction for interesting students at their Chinese Language Center, separate from the regular program at NCCU. Interested students have the option of taking a 3-credit Chinese language class based on their language skill level at the Center. Please note, as the language classes are separate from the regular program, NCCU will charge students an additional fee for these classes. NCCU does however offer a special language scholarship which students can apply for that covers these fees.
Please visit the NCCU website
for more information on course offerings.
View the Course Equivalency Database to find out which courses on this program have already been equated to AU courses. Please note that you are NOT limited to just these courses. Students will need to request equivalency for courses which have not been previously reviewed. Read more about the course equivalency process and how AU counts study abroad credits on our Courses and Credits page.
