Program Description:

Please note that admission to the WHU program is competitive, and as available exchange spaces are limited, priority for this program is granted to BLC: German students. If you are not a BLC Major, please make an appointment with Kogod Global Learning to discuss your eligibility for the program.

WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management is one of the most prestigious management schools in Germany. WHU's home, Vallendar, is located directly on the famed Rhine River, one of the most beautiful and ancient cultural landscapes in Europe, and is approximately one hour from both Frankfurt and Cologne. This academically rigorous program, coordinated through the Kogod School of Business, enables students to directly enroll at WHU for a semester or entire academic year to complete core, specialization, or elective courses alongside local and international students. Please note that KSB core courses are generally only available at WHU during the spring semester.

The Kogod School of Business developed this student exchange program with one of the top-ranked business schools in Germany, the WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management. WHU emphasizes an entrepreneurial and innovative approach to business and maintains high academic standards for its diverse student population. As part of this program, AU students directly enroll in WHU for a semester or academic year, joining full-time WHU students as well as up to 100 other exchange students per semester from 30 different countries.

WHU provides an excellent support system for its incoming exchange students, called "Tauschies", including the VIP (Vallendar Integration Program) and numerous social activities. WHU is located in Vallendar, Germany, directly on the famed Rhine River and less than an hour from both Frankfurt and Cologne. The Rhineland is one of the most beautiful and ancient cultural landscapes in Europe, and its advantageous location near France, Luxembourg, Belgium, and the Netherlands makes it an ideal home base for travel throughout Europe.

Additional information for students interested in this program can be found on the WHU Incoming Exchange Student website and in the WHU Information Material for Exchange Students. Interested students should note that WHU is an academically rigorous program which requires a minimum GPA of 3.0.
