Student Life
Life in Seoul
Seoul is the

center of politics, culture, and economy in Korea. Although Korea has experienced a lot of Western influence in modern history, there are old norms and traditional culture that still persist despite the recent changes. In this sense, Korea provides a particularly advantageous position from which to study the changing culture, economics, and politics of all the nations of the East Asian region.
Located in the vicinity of Shinchon, a safe university town in a cosmopolitan setting with bustling students, Ewha offers, in contrast, a serene and beautiful campus. Covering 582,752 square meters, Ewha is known to have one of the more beautiful campuses in the city. The University's convenient location in the heart of Seoul, with a subway line just outside of the main gate, allows students to see various parts of Seoul and beyond.
Housing and Meals

Students will find most conveniences right on campus, including an indoor swimming pool, exercise facilities, theater, computer rooms, copy centers, a bank, post office, bookstore, record shop, eye glasses shop, shoe repair shop, travel agency, convenient stores, bakeries, cafes and ATM machines. Students are housed in one of Ewha's three new dormitories.
