Life in London
London is truly one of the most dynamic and exciting cities in the world, offering students an unparalleled environment in which to live and study. Whether your interest is art and theater, politics and economics, or film and music, it can all be found in abundance. Middlesex University has several campuses across north London ranging in style from modern academic centers to historic buildings which have been standing for hundreds of years. Each campus offers comprehensive facilities and its own distinctive, welcoming character.
The Middlesex Summer School takes place at two campuses: Trent Park and Cat Hill. Trent Park, the main base for Summer School, is an impressive 60-acre country campus surrounded by 900 acres of woodland and meadows.
Housing and Meals
Partner students are responsible for making housing and meal arrangements independently. Middlesex University's campuses and halls of residence are all less than an hour's journey by underground or mainline train from central London. For Summer School students, halls of residence are available at Trent Park. The halls are centrally located on the campus and are close to the classrooms. These halls offer single study bedrooms with shared bathroom and basic kitchen facilities. A room costs £18 per night and accommodation is limited so early booking is advisable. A non-refundable booking deposit of £10 per week (or part week) is required. This deposit is deductible from the full payment. Students wanting accommodation should complete the relevant section on the Middlesex Summer School application form.
The Summer School also offers a social, cultural and tuition package to students attending the full six-week Summer School. This includes one course tuition fee, on-campus accommodation, two meals per day, free access to sports classes and facilities, plus a schedule of social and cultural events.
