Major: Biology

Gerardo Rodriguez - Mexico: Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM)
Major: Finance
Gerardo studied at ITESM, known as the MIT of Latin America. Monterrey is an exciting city for finance majors, because of its location right across the border from the U.S., it's become a major hub for businesses in Mexico.

Jeannette Kimmel - New Zealand: University of Otago
Major: Print Journalism
Jeannette chose to study in New Zealand at the University of Otago. After her program, she had the opportunity to do an internship with Lonely Planet Publications in Melbourne, Australia. She also got the chance to go "zorbing."

Vandana Duggal - France: Paris
Major: Public Communications
Vandana studied in Paris because of her love of French culture. She chose to study art history, and her classes were entirely conducted in French -- a fantastic benefit for her language skills. Vandana thought her experience in Paris was "incredible."

Michael Varum - Spain: Madrid
Major: International Studies
Michael studied in Madrid and lived with a Spanish family. He enjoyed traveling around Spain and learning its history and culture while practicing his Spanish. During his time abroad, Michael felt that he gained not only an understanding of Spain and its history, but also an understanding of himself.

Amanda Barker - Chile: Santiago
Major: International Relations
Amanda studied fields related to her major while in Chile, and saw firsthand how issues such as economics, poverty, and immigration affect people in South America. She remembers how challenging and ultimately rewarding it was to live in Chile and be immersed in the Spanish language and a completely different culture.
