Academics

|
Networked computers are available to students at various facilities within the modern, state-of-the-art campus. |
Prerequisites
A minimum GPA of 2.9 is required for
acceptance to this program.
Courses
AU students directly enroll in the University of
Limerick for either a semester or for a full year
and earn AU credit. AU students are completely integrated
into life at UL, taking classes alongside Irish and
international students. The University is composed
of six constituent Colleges: the College of Business,
the Faculty of Education, the College of Engineering,
the College of Science, the College of Informatics
and Electronics and the College of Humanities. Students
can select courses (called modules) in any of the
six colleges, across departments and faculties, and
typically enroll in four to five courses per semester
(five is the traditional workload for an Irish student).
With over 800 courses available, AU students are ensured
maximum flexibility in designing their curriculum
while abroad. Course descriptions are available at
UL's
website.
