Housing and Meals

You have the option of living in a Residential College on the UDLAP campus, or with a Mexican family in a home stay. Residential Colleges have shared bathrooms and common areas, and every effort is made to place program students with Mexican roommates. Meals are taken in the campus cafeterias. Students choosing a homestay are placed in single bedrooms with families that are carefully selected to ensure students are treated as a member of the family and exposed to everyday Mexican culture. Breakfast and dinner are taken with the family, lunch on campus. All homestays are located within a 30-minute ride by public transportation to the UDLA campus. Homestay housing is limited, and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
