Application
Partner deadlines require students to submit all
application materials to AU Abroad by March 15 (Fall
and Full-year programs) and October 1 (Spring programs).
In addition to the application materials listed on
our Apply page, students
are required to submit the following materials for
UDLA’s semester application.
- Application
- Nomination letter from the study abroad office
- Official University Transcript (including the
most recent semester)
- Copy of the photo page of a valid passport
- Personal Statement
- Proof of insurance
- Completed Medical

Visa Information
U.S. citizens may enter Mexico on a Tourist Visa,
but must apply for their Student Visa upon entering
the country. Students are responsible for contacting
the Mexican
Embassy or Consulate to find out which additional
documents are needed to obtain a Student Visa.
