Life in London
London is truly one of the most dynamic and exciting cities in the
world, offering students an unparalleled environment in which to live
and study. Whether your interest is art and theater, politics and economics,
or film and music, it can all be found in abundance. Lying close to the
center of London in Bloomsbury and within easy reach of the West End, UCL is able to cater to a variety of tastes in culture, social life and sport. UCL students have the best of both worlds; all the fun and
excitement of a bustling, busy city existence, with the peace and tranquility
of parks close at hand. Despite its large student body, UCL occupies
a relatively compact area within the university quarter of London in
a peaceful setting of academic and professional institutions.
Housing and Meals
Partner students are responsible for making housing
and meal arrangements independently. Housing at UCL is primarily in student
halls and houses, the majority of which are within a few minutes walk
of campus. UCL Halls of Residence, along with Intercollegiate Halls,
are catered, providing breakfast and dinner, while Student Houses offer
self-catered flats. The accommodation typically takes the form of single
or shared study-bedroom. UCL guarantees housing to all full-year study
abroad students who have been admitted and have submitted an application
for accommodation. Students who come for less than a full year will be
considered for housing, but it cannot be guaranteed. Assistance is provided
for students wanting private accommodation.

The UCL Program is available for Fall semester,
Spring semester and Full Year. Please see the UCL website for specific program dates.
