Application
Partner deadlines require students to submit all
application materials to AU Abroad by March
15 (Fall programs; please note that this
is two weeks prior to our Enclave application deadline)
and September 15 (Spring programs-
please note this is four weeks prior to the typical
Partner Program deadline). In addition to the
application materials listed on our Apply

submit an online application specifically for UCD.
Students interested in applying for this program
should speak with Ethan Merritt at AU Abroad (merritt@american.edu
or 202-885-1325) for instructions for the UCD online
application. Additional required applications materials
are:

- One Academic Letter of Recommendation
Cost
Information on program fees for AU Abroad Partners may be found here. More information on our fees can be found on our Costs page.
Students are responsible for paying any non-tuition related fees of the Partner University directly to the Partner University. This includes housing if opting to obtain it through the Partner University.
Please note: Students typically pay a housing deposit of 350 Euro to UCD prior to departure if applying for housing.
Visa Information
Upon acceptance, on-site staff at UCD will provide students with a visa letter. AU Abroad will distribute the letters to students. Students are responsible for contacting the Irish
Embassy or Consulates to find out which additional documents are needed to obtain a student visa.
