The magnificent city of Lille, named the "European Cultural Capitol of 2004", is a one hour train ride north of Paris. Students interested in a smaller and less traveled destination within France, should consider studying in the historical and cultural European city of Lille. Lille provides direct access to the three major cities of London, Brussels, and Paris while set in a smaller city of museums, beautiful architectural buildings, and cobble-stoned streets. Lille provides a remarkable opportunity for AU students to study at the prestigious Institut d’Etudes Politique in Lille.

IEP Lille has a wide curriculum of courses for students interested in Political Sciences and International Relations. Courses are offered in both French and English. Intensive French courses are also available for foreign students speaking French as a second language. Studying abroad in Lille is an ideal environment for students wanting to study directly at a French university, while while taking some of their coursework in English.
