Monash is best known as one of Australia's most internationalized schools. With about 49,500 students studying at eight different campuses – six in the Australian state of Victoria, one in Malaysia, and one in South Africa – Monash hosts approximately 12,000 international students from over 100 countries. The university is divided into 10 separate faculties and each is recognized as national and international leaders in their fields and offer innovative programs in a broad range of subject areas.
