England: Middlesex University - Academics

Prerequisites

A minimum GPA of 2.7 is required.

Courses

AU students directly enroll at Middlesex for either a semester or for a full year and earn AU credit. Middlesex is composed of five campuses, each the centre for a particular School and different area of expertise. Students can choose from over 4,000 courses across these five Schools. Subjects of study are grouped into 10 broad academic areas: Accounting, Finance and Economics; Art, Design and Electronic Arts; Biological and Health Sciences; Business and Management Studies; Computing and IT; Dance, Drama, Music and Performing Arts; English and Mass Communication; Humanities and Cultural Studies; Law and Criminology; Modern European Languages; Social Sciences; Teaching and Education; and Work-Based Learning. The tremendous variety of courses (called modules) at Middlesex offers AU students great flexibility.

Internships

A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.

Internships are available through Middlesex University. This internship option at Middlesex is a unique offering among Partner programs. Internship placements are available in a wide range of fields and are organized by Middlesex staff. The internship is credit-bearing and acts as one of the student's courses while at Middlesex. Students interested in applying for the internship option at Middlesex must complete the additional Middlesex internship application form and submit it to AU Abroad along with all other regular application materials. Students must obtain prior approval from their academic advisor to receive major credit for their internship abroad.
