Application

The applications are due to the AU Abroad Office by the partner deadline of March 15 (for fall and full year applicants) and October 1 (for spring applicants). . In addition to the application materials listed on our Apply page, students are required to submit the following materials for MICEFA's application.

  • MICEFA Application Form
  • Two copies of your official transcript
  • Personal Statement of Purpose (one statement can be used for both the MICEFA and AU forms)
  • Three Passport Sized Photos
  • Two faculty recommendations
  • A copy of your passport information page

Visa Information

Upon acceptance, on-site staff at MICEFA will provide students with a visa letter. AU Abroad will distribute the letters to students. Students are responsible for contacting the French Embassy or Consulate to find out which additional documents are needed to obtain a student visa. Please note that the visa application is a lengthy, two-step process, and requires a minimum of two months to execute.
