Study in the heart of London, steps away from famous sights!

Life in London

London is truly one of the most dynamic and exciting cities in the world, offering students an unparalleled environment in which to live and study. Whether your interest is art and theater, politics and economics, or film and music, it can all be found in abundance. LSE's location in central London is fundamental to its identity. It is a stimulating, cosmopolitan campus and very much a part of the city. Westminster, Whitehall, the business and financial institutions of the City, the Law Courts and the media are all on the School's doorstep.

Housing and Meals

Partner students are responsible for making housing and meal arrangements independently. Students accepted to LSE's General Course must apply on-line for LSE housing by a deadline. Most General Course students are allocated LSE housing but it cannot be guaranteed. LSE offers a variety of styles of accommodation, including Halls of Residence and Houses, which are either catered or offer self-catering facilities. In all of them, there will be a varied mix of students, undergraduates and postgraduates, local and overseas, men and women.

Students who would prefer not to stay in university accommodation, or who are not allocated LSE/intercollegiate housing in the housing 'lottery', have two further options. LSE also offers housing with a host family to those students who don't receive, or choose not to take, university accommodation. This host family option offers either self-catering rooms, accommodation with breakfast or accommodation with breakfast and evening meal. Alternatively, students can live in private-housing, which they organize themselves with some assistance from LSE.

Schedule

The LSE program is available for Full Year only. Please see the LSE website for specific General Course program dates.
