Courses
You will take courses at John
Cabot University (JCU), located in the eclectic
Trastevere neighborhood of Rome. JCU is an American-style
institution, but with a distinctively Italian feel.
All non-language courses are taught in English.
John Cabot University is a good match for students
interested in Political Science, International Relations,
Literature, History, Economics. Students who would
like to study in Rome, but are interested in Communications,
Art History, the Classics, Italian language or Italian
studies should apply to American
University of Rome.
Earn a full semester of American University (AU)
undergraduate credit. Students choose from a range
of courses. Students generally take 4-5 courses while
at JCU. Most courses are worth three credits. Students
are not required to take an Italian language course,
but this is strongly recommended.
Some courses include on-site lectures that bring
the lessons of the classroom into the ancient structures
that make up the city of Rome. A full listing of current
JCU course descriptions may be found on the JCU
website. (Course offerings vary by semester.)
