Application, Visa & Costs

Application
Partner deadlines require students
to submit all application materials to AU Abroad by
March 15 (Fall and Full-year programs;
please note that this is two weeks prior
to our Enclave application deadline) and October 1 (Spring
programs). In addition to the application materials
listed on our Apply page,
students are required to submit the following materials
for ITESM's application.
- Application
Form
- Official Transcript
- Four Passport-sized Photographs
- Volunteer Social Work Program Application Materials
(Optional):
- Letter explaining why and stating your commitment
to work al least 100 hours per semester in this
program. Please specify the area you prefer to work
in.
- Internship Application Materials (Optional):
- Resume in English and Spanish (with a recent photo).
- Short essay saying why it is important for you
to participate in the Internship Program. Please
don’t forget to include the field in which
you would like to complete you internship. (i.e.
Marketing, Sales, Human Resources Planning, etc.).
- Residence Hall or Family Program reservation (Optional):
- Short essay about family’s life style and
habits. (Family Program only)
- Non-refundable certified check
from a US bank, a subsidiary of a US bank (i.e.
Citibank), or traveler’s checks made payable
to ITESM to confirm your reservation.
Please note:
- If you choose to live in a Residence Hall, this
down payment is USD $450 and is credited toward the
total cost of the program
- If you participate in the Host Family program the
down payment is USD $250. $100 is retained as a fee
and $150 is credited toward the total cost of the
program.

Visa Information
Upon acceptance, on-site staff in Mexico will provide
students with an official letter. ITESM or AU Abroad
will distribute the letters to students. U.S. citizens
may enter Mexico on a Tourist Visa, but must apply for
their Student Visa upon entering the country. Students
are responsible for contacting the Mexican
Embassy or Consulate to find out which additional
documents are needed to obtain a Student Visa.
