Student Life

Mexico City juxtaposes the elegance of an emerging city with the cultural history of the country. While studying at ITAM, students will have the opportunity to explore the city and become familiar with Mexican culture. As part of ITAM’s mission to improve society, the university offers several organizations for students to become involved in the community.

Accommodation and Meals

AU students will reside in on-campus housing. International students can usually share an apartment with other international students, either close to campus or to the nearest metro station. Students can choose to have an on-campus mean plan at ITAM during their stay. Mexico City also offers plenty of restaurants for students to try authentic Mexican cuisine.

2005 Schedule

The academic year is divided into two semesters:
Fall Semester: from mid-August to mid-December
Spring Semester: from mid-January to early June

Classes begin	August 10, 2005
Classes end	December 2, 2005
Final exams	December 3 – December 17, 2005
Spring Semester 2006
Classes begin	January 16, 2006
Classes end	May 19, 2006
Final exams	May 20 – May 30, 2006
