As the most diverse city in Canada, Toronto has a wide range of activities to offer visitors in the area of culture, entertainment, and the arts. The word “Toronto”, is adequately the Huron Indian word for "meeting place", as the metropolitan city of 2.5 million people is home to more than 100 cultures. Toronto is the southern most major city in Canada, and provides a clean and safe environment for business, industry, and the arts, with the charm and energy of a large metropolis. AU students can spend a semester or academic year at one of three campuses of the University of Toronto, including the downtown Toronto St. George campus, the Mississauga campus, and the Scarborough campus. UT offers courses in several disciplines in the arts and sciences, business, and engineering.
