Life in Mexico City

Mexico City is one of the truly great cities of the world with an incredible array of diverse neighborhoods, cultural activities, entertainment opportunities, famous restaurants, and festivities of all kinds throughout the year. Of course, students are constantly stimulated by the excitement of being at the center of Mexican politics and current events. When it's time to take a break from studies at El Colegio de Mexico, no AU student will lack for things to do in this metropolitan area of an estimated 18 million people, the largest in the Western Hemisphere! Study amid all the excitement in the capital of Mexico -- a land of increasing challenges and opportunities for the next generation of Americans.

Housing and Meals

Students are responsible for making housing and meal arrangements independently. Upon admission to El Colegio de Mexico, students may receive support from on-site staff with potential housing options. As for meals, there is no shortage of great food in Mexico!
