Housing and Meals
Though UAI does not have residential housing, on-site
staff will do their best to help incoming students
find apartments near the university. Students can
take advantage of the opportunity to stay with a Chilean
family, which will allow them to practice their Spanish
and learn Chilean customs. Visit
this page to read UAI's recommendations for housing
during a semester abroad at their institution. There
is a Welcoming
Committee comprised by UAI undergraduate students,
who will help and orient incoming students in the
search for housing. Students are responsible for providing
their own meals, and can choose from an array of delicious
Chilean restaurants, cafes and markets.
Schedule
UAI operates on a Southern Hemisphere
calendar. UAI's First Semester (Primer Semestre) corresponds
to AU's Spring term, and UAI's Second Semester (Segundo
Semestre) corresponds to AU's fall term.
