Courses
BGU attracts first class, dynamic faculty from all over Israel, and indeed, the world. As an international student, you will have the opportunity to benefit from their expertise in a variety of disciplines. The University has become a dynamic center for research and education. It has helped build bridges of peace between Israel and its Arab neighbors through cooperation in science, research and development.
The Center for International Student Program offers several concentrations in fields where BGU has particular strengths. These concentrations are designed to highlight areas in which students can find numerous courses available through the CISP, as well as fields in which students might wish to take internships and/or independent research classes.
You’ll find the wide variety of course offerings for the Overseas Student Program at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev on their website. Please note that the program reserves the right to add and delete courses as necessary according to student enrollment and faculty availability. All courses are taught in English.
Students who are fluent in Hebrew may also register for regular University courses, with the Israeli student body. The University regularly hosts visiting professors, and they often teach in English and OSP students are invited to attend these classes.
Internships
Students may independently arrange their own internships based upon personal contacts. Students must obtain prior approval from their academic advisor to receive major credit for their internship abroad.
