Application, Visa & Costs
Application
The deadline for UDLA and all Mexico Language Immersion
programs is March 15. In addition to the application
materials listed on our Apply
page, students are required to submit the following
materials for UDLAP's application. All materials should
be submitted to the AU Abroad office:
- Application
Form
- Medical Form
- Housing Form
- Official Transcript
- Copy of an insurance card/policy with international
coverage
- Six oval, Black & White passport sized (3.5cm
x 5 cm) photos
- Photocopy of Passport (notarized copy of photo/info
pages)
- Spanish Placement Exam - Information TBA
Visa Information
U.S. citizens do not need to obtain a Mexican student
visa and may travel to Mexico on a Tourist Visa,
since the Program is shorter than the 90-day tourist
period. Non-U.S. citizens requiring a Mexican student
visa will be provided a letter by AU Abroad upon
acceptance to the Program. Non-U.S. citizens are
responsible for contacting the Mexican Embassy or
Consulate to find out which additional documents
are needed to obtain a student visa.
