**** NEW APPLICATION REQUIREMENT, 4/26/06- Students
applying to the Chile program must submit proof of
application for an "FBI
Identification Record". This record is required
for a Chilean student visa for all AU students, regardless
of age. "Proof of Application" can be a
copy of the submitted application OR proof of postage
from the United States Postal Service or a national
mail courier (Fed Ex, UPS, etc.) with the address
of a national or local FBI center.
Visa Information
Upon acceptance, AU Abroad staff will provide students
with information regarding visa requirements. All
students must obtain the Chilean student visa. Non-US
citizens should check with the Chilean Embassy to
learn about any special requirements. AU Abroad will
provide all with a letter to obtain their Student
Visa. All students are responsible for contacting
the Chilean Embassy
or Consulate to find out which additional documents
are needed to obtain the student visa.
