A beautiful view of Prague.

Through the AU Abroad
Prague Enclave Program, students have the opportunity to study in one
of the most dynamic and compelling cities in Europe.
The program is divided into two major
curriculum options: Humanities/Central European Studies
and Photography (administered by CET Academic Programs).
Students select one of these program tracks. Students
earn a full semester of AU credit in classes taught
in English.
You are sure to find inspiration in the architectural and historic delights
of this 1,000 year-old golden city - a city known to be one
of the most beautiful in the world. Built on seven hills and spanning
the winding Vltava River, Prague offers enchanting views from all of
its districts, from Hradcany, the castle district with its palaces, museums,
and churches to "New Town," Nove Mesto, which was founded in
the mid-1300s and now houses many museums, theatres, and concert halls.
As a student in Prague, you begin to appreciate the country's proud
history of encouraging the arts and its legacy of producing famous writers,
musicians, and filmmakers. Now, as a new player in Europe's restructured
landscape, the Czech Republic is learning, once again, the mechanisms
for social, economic, and psychological adaptation in an increasingly
competitive world. For a semester, you can absorb the artistic and progressive
spirit of the Czech people as you enjoy this unique city.
