AU Abroad Enclaves

AU Abroad Enclaves focus on the unique aspects of the native culture in tailored courses. Students choose from a limited number of seminar-style classes offered each term, taught by local faculty. To enhance understanding of the topics studied, Enclaves may incorporate excursions to nearby cities and/or countries. International work experience is also a possibility, as students may choose to intern at a local organization that fits their professional interests. AU Abroad Enclaves are administered under the guidance of a program director or coordinator. AU and non-AU students are welcome to apply to Enclaves, with the exception of the Italy: Rome Enclave, which is open to AU students only.
